Summer break for your kids has already started right? Are you enjoying it or scratching your head right now? Imagining that you are unprepared for the next two to three months, staying home with your kids, day in and day out, it becomes the longest slot in the year.
I like to be spontaneous but the reality is.. those precious unplanned moments are few and far to reach.
To make the summer sun smoothly with happy memories at the end, parents need to have some game plans.
I have some ideas to share with you after putting my kids to bed.
1. Have some easy goals.
2. Fill in your calendar with activities.
3. Housework day. It is ok to show and share some house chores with your kids. This is part of life. Set some small goals for them to awake their interests.
4. Summer camp, out in the nature one week
5. Light walk in some trails
6. Creative day. Let them to be creative n their days
...
Remember, it is good to have a game plan but don't go too hard on yourself. It is ok to be spontaneous too. Trying to plan every minute of the summer could be exhausting. Part of the beauty of summer is that there are moments of surprises.
Be flexible, planned, excited, safe and health!
