T-shirt design has always been a passion of Loop Loop’s Owner and Founder, Anita. It’s a passion that goes back to her university days when she created her very first design. And she hasn’t stopped!
Anita recently created a unique t-shirt design celebrating the adaptability, innovation, and resiliency of her local school district’s 2020 graduating class during the COVID-19 pandemic. She also recently launched a design highlighting the popularity of bubble tea shops in the city, quickly becoming a fan favourite with boba lovers.
Loop Loop will soon unveil their latest project, a line of “Where were you born?” t-shirts. As a mother of two boys, Anita found herself wishing she had a memorable keepsake from where her children were delivered. Then it dawned on her. Why not create a t-shirt that showcases something truly unique to each hospital? So, with one son born in White Rock and one in Burnaby, Anita quickly envisioned a t-shirt featuring a white mommy rock and a baby rock for White Rock’s historic landmark and a mommy mountain and a baby mountain for Burnaby’s majestic alp.
“Where were you born?” t-shirts are now being developed to commemorate birthing experiences at Peace Arch Hospital, Burnaby Hospital, Richmond Hospital, St. Paul’s Hospital, Lion’s Gate Hospital, Surrey Memorial Hospital, and BC Women’s Hospital.
The cotton t-shirts, manufactured locally in Vancouver, come complete with a fabric storage pouch large enough to store the t-shirt and any other valuable keepsakes of a child’s birth (hospital bracelet, first outfit, baby handprints, etc.). The pouch also allows parents to record where their child was born and their birth time, weight, and length for prosperity.
Loop Loop is excited to continue developing high-quality, affordable t-shirts to capture life’s special moments and tell unique stories. So please keep checking back to see what we’re up to!
